Arthroscopy Advanced
Lecturer : Dr. Jean-Guillaume GRAND (Bordeaux, France)
Dr. Jean-Guillaume GRAND is a specialsit orthopedist surgeon and ECVS diplomate since 2012.
Since 2004, he has worked across Europe (France, Belgium, Ireland and the UK), refining his techniques - particularly in traumatology, minimally invasive surgery, and the correction of bone deformities using 3D printing.
In this course, you will learn how to set up and explore the three major canine joints : the elbow, shoulder and stifle. The last afternoon will be dedicated to clinical cases and the management of complications.
Hands-on sessions will be contucted on canine cadavers.
REFRESH SESSION : It is possible to attend a half-day refresher session on simulators before the course (Wednesday afternoon (June 2)). There will be no extra charge. However, places are very limited (maximum of 8), so please do not choose this option if you already have some experience in arthroscopy.
Please note that there are three online courses scheduled for the following dates (each class will last one hour) :

Informations
Who is this training for?
These courses are intended for veterinarians and veterinary residents who already have some experience in surgery.
If it's your first time with us, proof of your professional status is required at the time of registration: a copy of your veterinary degree or your registration certificate with the veterinary board of your country of practice.
Residents must also provide a signed residency confirmation letter from their programme director or supervisor in order to benefit from the reduced rate.
Can I register for more than one course?
Yes, you can register for either a single course or for multiple courses offered during the week.
However, due to overlapping schedules, not all combinations are possible. The following combinations are allowed:
Laparoscopy/Thoracoscopy + Arthroscopy (without refresh session June 2)
Do i get a certification?
This training does not provide a certification recognised at European level. However, all instructors are highly qualified and hold the ECVS diploma, ensuring internationally acknowledged expertise.
Special dietary requirements
Lunch is included each day of the course.
If you follow a specific diet (vegetarian, food intolerances, no pork, etc.), please let us know either at the time of registration or by replying to the email that will be sent to you 1 to 2 months before the course begins.
It would be a shame to spend a week in France without being able to enjoy its cuisine!
